La enciclopedia de las aves de España

This encyclopaedia, published by the BBVA Foundation and SEO/BirdLife, presents in a single DVD more than 4,000 pages, 1.600 photographs, 1.200 illustrations, 370 sound files, 200 videos and 400 maps.

It is an interactive, multimedia presentation of the more than 500 bird species to be found in Spain, with information on their distribution and threat status.

A team of forty people (to which must be added more than fifty collaborators and specialists) has taken several years to prepare the work, under the direction of SEO/BirdLife. It is notable for its advanced technology and its adaption of the content into language accessible to everyone, without loss of scientific rigour.
