This book offers a complete overview of the life and work of Fernando González Bernáldez through reminiscences of his friends and followers, comments on his main lines of work by fellow ecologists and a selection of his own writings. It includes several photos, as well as an abundance drawings, most of which are by González Bernáldez himself, who was also an extraordinary illustrator. Figura con paisajes is a tribute to a scientist who has been unanimously accepted as a fundamental figure in the study and conservation of nature in Spain.
