Antonio Sandoval Rey (A Coruña, 1967) is a writer and environmental communicator and, since he was a child, an enthusiastic ornithologist. He is the author of What Good Are Birds? (Tundra, 2016) and Las aves marinas de Estaca de Bares. Un diario personal (Tundra, 2015), as well as El árbol de la escuela (Kalandraka, 2016). He is also co-author of Cuándo ver aves en Galicia. Ideas mes a mes para familias, aficionados y expertos (Tundra, 2014). A regular contributor to the newspaper La Voz de Galicia, he has written countless informative and scientific ornithological articles in different general and specialized publications.
